I would love to join and help if I can, it's just ... I never know how much time I have.

What would be my duties as a regular member? What would be my duties as a volunteer?

How often would I have to be active?

I am the Co-Founder of a group already, soon RL will take more of my time and I don't want to give up writing and drawing practice entirely when my time is more limited, that's why I ask.

Things like moderating #devart, helping out in #help, attending to the forum system, selecting daily deviations. Stuff like that. You don't neccesarily have to do all of that, and that's not an all inclusive list. While there's no particular set amount of time you need to be on, it's a good idea to be around fairly often, but you're not expected to be on 24/7 or for deviantART to be your main focus in life; we all have lives outside of volunteering.

Thanks for responding.

There are still a lot of things I don't know yet and I am a bit unsure. When I'm not on a holiday I am here daily anyway, I also check the forums daily.
As a volunteer I would be able to lock or move threads? Because I seem to have a talent for finding misplaced threads and it would be much easier to handle that myself rather than sending a note every time ...
Concerning other stuff I am rather unsure. I am not an art expert, so I wouldn't trust myself when it comes about selecting DD's. As for giving help, I know a few things, but not all. I am answering people's questions already (when I am able to, that is).

Yes. Locking and moving threads can be a part of it. You don't have to select any daily deviations if you don't want to. I find that in helping, you learn.

You have to apply to become a volunteer. And you may not make it. If you want it that badly, and if you don't get in the first time, you'll probably want to apply the next time too. I'm just saying...it's hard because a lot of people apply for positions on deviantART!
